Description

A new work premiered in September 2010. The first Etude seeks fragile tones while the second and fourth Etudes draw on the exuberance and cheerfulness of the Balkan dance tradition. The third Etude gradually proceeds to a familiar Gregorian hymn tune.

Syyskuussa 2010 kantaesitetty teos. Ensimmäinen etydi esittelee hauraita sävyjä kun taas toinen ja neljäs saavat aineksensa Balkanin tanssillisista ja elämäniloisista rytmeistä. Kolmas etydi kasvaa vähitellen tuttuun gregoriaaniseen sävelmään.
